What it looks like
Footie tricks » Adriano
How?
“The Adriano is all about a three-point triangle around and behind the standing foot as you dribble. As a first step, tap the ball out and back with your non-standing foot, then tap it back in and back with the same foot, so it starts heading off past your standing foot. Switch the foot you’re standing on and move off with the ball, kicking with the foot you were originally standing on. Practise by doing this move around a stationary object like a post, then you’ll be able to do it with a real opponent.”
Why?
The Adriano is another way of getting past an oncoming defender, like the stepover, only this is a more advanced form of dummy and hopefully the opposition won’t be expecting it.
